When you first bought your home, it most likely met your needs, but time and your needs can change things. At some point after purchasing a home, many homeowners find they require more living space. Adding a room addition to an existing house is often a more economical alternative to moving into a larger home. At Sussel, we design living spaces to meet your changing needs. It’s comforting to know that with Sussel, needing more space doesn’t automatically mean you have to move.

This custom-designed, all-season room addition is 16x14 feet and features vaulted ceilings and sunlight on all three sides. We also added Energy Star-rated windows, doors, and insulation, and matched the exterior of the room addition to the client’s existing home. The homeowner, Jackie, wanted to tackle some of the building process because of the cost savings. She removed an existing deck, installed flooring, and painted and trimmed out the room addition. What’s the one thing a fine house and a successful business always have in common? They must have solid foundations, or they will not last. Like our quality construction, our company has proven to be structurally sound. Sussel is one of the Midwest’s largest builders of room additions—and for a good reason. We offer an impressive service record, quality materials, superior designs and workmanship, affordable pricing and financing, plus a worry-free warranty.

This featured room addition is 12x12 feet, and was custom designed to fit the customer’s home, with a 12x12-foot screened porch and 10x12-foot cedar deck. A room addition to your home offers a great return on investment in multiple ways. By adding space to your home in the form of a bedroom, family room, bath, dining room, or a combination of these, you’ll be adding significantly to the value of your home. And, with the proper financing, you’ll also be able to take advantage of further tax benefits as a result of the room addition.

This featured all-season room addition is 18x14 feet, and was custom designed to fit the home, with vaulted ceilings and sunlight on all three sides. Our experts installed Energy Star-rated windows, doors, and insulation, and matched the exterior of the room addition to the existing home.
